Polartec launches its latest range of sustainable performance fabrics including Polartec® Power Shield™ RPM, Polartec® 200 and micro-recycled wool. The fiber supplier Hyosung TNC is planning to invest $1 billion for the “Hyosung BDO Project”in vietnam to establish multiple Bio-BDO production factories. “BDO” is a chemical used as a raw material for PTMG, which is used to make spandex fiber. The plan is targeting to build the world’s first fully-integrated production system for bio-spandex.
