INVISTA announced the completion of its expansion project for the production base of Nylon 6,6 polymers on August 13 in Shanghai Chemicals Industry Park (SCIP), which might reach a production capacity of 400 thousand tons of the Nylon 6,6 annually.
The project is aiming to fully leverage the integrated effects of the nylon 6,6 value chain, stabilize and quickly response the supply of the nylon 6,6’s polymers for the local market. The president of INVISTA said that with this base, China might become one of the biggest suppliers of Nylon 6,6 globally.

Germany sportswear brand PUMA shows that it is struggling to win back investors’ believes since its second quarter reports shows the turnovers has been slightly down comparing to the previous year.
