Arabella | Returned from Intertextile! Weekly Brief News of Clothing Industry During Aug 26th-31st

cover

Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics Exhibition just finished during August 27-29 successfully last week. Arabella’s sourcing and designing team also returned with fruitful results by participating in it then found more advanced and cutting-edge materials.

As an internationally significant platform that enables exhibitors to showcase their leading material filled with advanced technologies in the clothing industry, the autumn exhibition can also be a fashion feast full of inspirations and trends. There are 5 themed and core areas including Fashion Facet (Hall 5.2),  Sustainable Fashion (Hall 6.1), Techno & Functions (Hall 7.2), Accessories (Hall 1.1).

Our team was surprised and amazed by the traffic, as well as the massive array of latest products this time. Our sourcing department noted that air-layered cotton blends, textured and bio-based fabrics are common in every corner of the hall, which might set a trend in the following. We also found some new eco-friendly materials such as coffee-carbon based fabric, bio-based nylon, eco-friendly skin-soft fabric, and more, suitable for activewear and athleisure. If you are interested in these, feel free to contact us!
